Our amazing team at the Club consists of 5 managers and 7 staff members, who are committed to helping others. Each staff member or volunteer must undergo a background check before interacting with youth members.
Our Thrift Store has 2 managers and 3 staff members on their team.

The Burkburnett Boys & Girls Club was founded in 1975 by a group of caring citizens of our community. Spear-headed by T.M. Cornelius and Pat Norris responding to a need for a place for the youth of all ethnicity and financial situations to go for wholesome entertainment and exercise.

The Burkburnett Boys & Girls Club was founded in 1975 by a group of caring citizens of our community. Spear-headed by T.M. Cornelius and Pat Norris responding to a need for a place for the youth of all ethnicity and financial situations to go for wholesome entertainment and exercise.
The organization is governed by a Board of Directors, made up of 12 community volunteers that are committed to enhancing our organization. They come from all facets of the community including City Council Member, business owners, bankers, and a variety of other professions. They meet monthly to oversee the implementation of all policies, strategic plans, and financial activity. They convene special meetings when the need arises to address special circumstances.

It is the mission of the Burkburnett Boys and Girls Club is “To inspire and enable all youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens”.
